THE FINER THINGS

We started this trip in Boston and worked our Way around to some of the more demanding, off-the-beaten-path skateparks that the larger New England area offers. And even though the parks could have been on the crusty side, we had the Disadvantages' corporate credit card financing that partnership so everything was cake. We're discussing dishes and Tempur-Pedic mattresses in resorts with parking. This was a golden opportunity to venture to the surf-and-turf section of this menu or to purchase that bottle of wine you've always wanted to test. Obviously, the dudes imbibed.

JASON JESSEE'S ROAD CREWS

SKATEBOARDING IS TECHNICALLY A MOOD. It is Balance in my life. You get on the road and out of your comfort zone out of my comfort zone. I'll tell you I enjoy traveling with my homies in my vehicle. However, when you are in the back of sizes of skateboards, it's terrifying.

Dude, who knows? Imagine if you need to shit your pants? Anything you wish to do you have to run it. I love going on the street since it helps me function in the real world 21, and coping with this shit. I never want do exactly what the rest of the world does. Because I am fascinated by human behavior, I live through this shit. There's no people to be than skateboarders. That goes for all skateboarders. Everyone else is outta their heads. That's what we are. Here is a number. --Jason Jessee In the '80s and it was Steve Claar, Jeff Grosso, Neil Blender and Mark Gonzales. Travelling with Neil and Mark was just the finest. Mark drive you crazy and would sing all of the time, but it had been the very best. Neil would keep you on your toes because you never wanted to bum him out. Traveling with Grosso, you knew you were never gonna get any sleep. He liked to party. It was a kind of traveling. It's so comfortable. Back then you had to jockey for position. It's just like everyone is cool. Everybody is cool as fuck. Back then you really had to stand your own ground.

Throughout the mid '90s and the 2000s I did not Get out much. I attempted to remain in my zip code afterward. In the 2000s I was a zip coder. I only went on a few excursions. I'm fragile and that I enjoy comfort.

These Days, Converse trips are the most comfortable. Nobody suffers. If someone's working they understand. They understand how to make you comfortable so that you want to skateboard. Because I was in my teens and 20s, comfort didn't matter in the '80s and '90s. Whenever you are in your teens and 20s it is possible to sleep on an aardvark; it doesn't even matter.

You might not be in a bad mood around Frank Gerwer. There's not very many individuals wired like Frank. You cherish traveling with Frank. Even if your grandma died you couldn't be sad. He is a wordsmith and a dancer. There's certain people that need to get involved in skateboarding for life: Lance Mountain, Jeff Grosso, the listing is long. We need Frank involved! Sure, he's bombed some legendary hills but Frank could be the best skateboarder/dancer on the planet. Kenny Anderson is fairly great too. Frank has no problem showing off his best complete skateboards for beginners. You're and even when you are not into dance you observe Frank, like. "Oh, I like  this." Your dancing opens.

Aka Alex Horn, Cranny, is the very exciting Human being on Earth. There is never a boring moment. He gets the most from every second of existence. I've never gone on an OJ trip, though. I've only gone with him on trips that were small. I envision that an OJ trip could be terrifying. They are on pot. I feel as if there are a lot of U turns. Iget the munchies and'd be high the whole time. I'd gain 20 pounds and that's why I am scared.

The bottom line is that in order Skate excursion, you haveta mesh. You gotta adapt. You if we get pulled over everyone must get outta the van, surround the cop and require situational awareness and let me do all the talking.

SOTY POWER

I have yet to go on a trip to Philly where Ishod and the crew at some point did not match up. This trip was no exception. We got who comes rolling up and to FDR? Ishod in a era Porsche. That guy, all fashion. We skated the park for five or six hours with guys sessioning at times. However, Ishod skated the time, ripping directly through the day. As the sun set he continued to shred well to the night and took us. The dude is a system! Hey, you don't have to be SOTY for sitting on your bum. Take note, kids.

THE ORANGE BEANIE BUNCH

Pretty a Beanie for your excursion: black, grey, maroon and orange being the colors of choice. About a week into the tour, a discussion ensued about which colour was the elite. From the end of the meal, it was determined that orange has been noblest and the very exclusive of all colours. Jason became the judge, choosing who would be allowed to wear the headgear. As everyone was allowed the honor, luckily, no feelings were hurt. A couple of days after, our shared view was confirmed as Ishod revealed up wearing an orange beanie. Orangenah, can't make myself do it.

KOWALSKI SCORES, GERWER SHOOTS

NYC is the Owl's Head Skatepark as well as frantic was No exception. I was on the street course trying to shoot something while some random dude was learning to fly a drone overhead. Hey, what better place to cut your teeth using a airborne vehicle than directly above a bunch of children? It distracted to say the least. Since the guy packed up his toy and Dr. Z zoned in on his suggestion, Gerwer came over to inform me that the bowl session was heating up. Well, Frank knows his way around a camera and was able to reside with Morford, so I handed my copy equipment to him and told him to shoot at anything that he deemed worthy. As soon as I saw this 360 transfer he shot of Kowalski I shit myself! Holy hell! Time Frank tells me things are warming up, I'm gonna come back runnin'.
